During the conversation between Tom Riddle and [[../../Characters/Horace Slughorn|Professor Slughorn]] in which Tom asks about Horcruxes, we see that Tom is wearing the sortGaunt ofsignet. ironyIf thathe Voldemorthad already created a Horcrux, he would havenot liked.need to ask Slughorn about them.
It is possible that Frank Bryce's murder was used to create the final Horcrux of the set that Voldemort was planning; again, bringing the circle to closure, by generating the last piece of his "''immortality''" in thatthe wayabandoned home of his hated father, would likely have appealed to Voldemort's sense of humour.▼
