(1) Albus Dumbledore described Himself and Gellert Grindelwald as being evenly matched and that he might have been a shade more skillful, if this is the case, how did Dumbledore beat Grindelwald after a good duel given that Grindelwald mastered the Elderwand ?
Given that we know that the Elder wand gives a significant power boost to its master
(2) From what we know of the Elderwand, it can augument the power of spells immensely, did Dumbledore factor in the power boost of the wand when he said they were evenly matched ?
Is this a possible explanation as Dumbledore was recollecting their relative power levels 50 years "After " the duel ?
