There are also three species of trolls. The trolls seen in the books are mountain trolls and are the largest. There are also forest trolls who live ing the forest, are slightly smaller than mountain trolls and have long green hair. Then there are river trolls or bridge trolls who live by the river and commonly under bridges. They will attack the unwary travelers that cross the bridge. These are the smallest of trolls.
