* Master Foods produced a line of Chocolate Frog treats with collectable Famous Wizards cards; Quirrel being given the first name Slatero. J. K. Rowling states [http://www.jkrowling.com/textonly/en/faq_view.cfm?id=96 that she wrote the information on those cards].
J. K. Rowling has confirmed, in ''Pottermore'', that Quirrell's first name is, indeed, Quirinus.
