Ron asks where the Sword and the bird came from, but Harry will explain later. Harry inquires about [[Muggles' Guide to Harry Potter/Characters/Gilderoy Lockhart|Lockhart]]. Ron says Lockhart has forgotten everything, even his own name.
 
Remembering that Phoenixes can lift amazingly heavy loads, Harry has the others join hands with him, then grasps Fawkes' tailfeathers. Fawkes then lifts all of them from the Chamber to [[Muggles' Guide to Harry Potter/Characters/Moaning Myrtle|Moaning Myrtle's]] washroom. Myrtle seems mildly disappointed that Harry is still alive, wanting to share her toilet with him if he died. Fawkes then flies everyone to [[Muggles' Guide to Harry Potter/Characters/Minerva McGonagall|Professor McGonagall's]] office.
